1. Who we are
voltrik.shop is operated by Voltrik, based in Victoria, Australia ("Voltrik", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our store is powered by Shopify.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and the items you order.
- Payment information: handled by our payment providers (see Payments). We never see or store your full card number.
- Communications: messages you send us by email or through our contact form.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To reply to your questions.
- To send marketing emails, if you've subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and the other providers offered at checkout, such as PayPal, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. Your payment details go directly to these providers and are handled under their own privacy policies and security standards (PCI-DSS).
5. Cookies and advertising pixels
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how our site is used and measure our advertising. This includes pixels and tags from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google. These tools may collect information such as the pages you view, items added to your cart and purchases, and use it to show you relevant ads and measure their results.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner, where shown. You can also manage your ad preferences directly with Meta, TikTok and Google.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, including:
- Shopify (our store platform and checkout) and our payment providers;
- our fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, to deliver your order;
- email and customer support tools;
- advertising and analytics partners (Meta, TikTok and Google), as described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

7. International transfers
We are based in Australia, and our service providers may store or process your information in Australia, the United States, China (where our fulfilment partners are located) and other countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected wherever it is processed, and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
8. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil orders and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (generally 7 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other information is deleted or anonymised when it's no longer needed.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to certain uses of it, by emailing hello.voltrik@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
10. US state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose;
- access, correct or delete your personal information;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Our use of advertising pixels may be considered "sharing" under some state laws. To opt out, use our Your Privacy Choices page or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honour as an opt-out request. You can also email us. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
11. Children
Our store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online transmission is completely secure. Please don't send sensitive information, such as card numbers, to us by email.
13. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the privacy regulator where you live. In Australia, that's the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
